u4gm How To Counter Spotters In Arc Raiders Guide And Tips

Post autor: Alam560 »

Anyone who has spent more than a few runs in Arc Raiders knows that moment when a thin red beam snaps onto your chest and your stomach drops. You are not looking at a normal damage source; you are looking at a tracking problem. That laser almost always means there is a Spotter up there somewhere, quietly painting you for something much nastier, and if you are farming ARC Raiders Items while distracted, it can end your run fast.

Spotter And Bombardier Combo
The Spotter itself is not scary at first glance. It floats around, no big gun, no rush-down attack, just a drone with a bad attitude. The problem is what comes after. Once it has line of sight, it feeds your position to Bombardiers sitting way off in the distance. You are behind cover, you think you are safe, and then shells start landing right where you moved a second ago. If the Spotter can see you, the artillery can track you, even if the Bombardier has no clean angle on its own. That is when a safe rock or wall suddenly feels like the center of a firing range.

Why Shooting The Drone First Feels Wrong
Most players do the same thing the first few times: they look up, panic a bit, then dump half a mag into the nearest drone. It feels like the logical answer, but it is usually a trap. Spotters tend to work in pairs, and the respawn timer on them is short enough that you are never really done. You knock one down, move forward, and another one drifts in from the edge of the skybox. You end up burning ammo and focus on small targets while the Bombardier keeps pounding the area. So instead of racing to kill the drone, you are better off breaking the lock first.

Breaking Sight And Using The Map
The laser is not magic; it needs a clean line to your character the whole time. If you step behind actual hard cover, the lock breaks and the shelling slows or stops. Thin fences, railings, bits of scrap metal, those usually do not cut it. You want buildings, rock faces, or big terrain chunks that completely block the beam. You then play a slower game, moving from one solid piece of cover to the next. Peek, draw the laser, duck out of sight, then shift position. Once you get used to it, you start reading the terrain by asking a simple question: if the Spotter is above me, what actually hides me, not just looks like cover.

Going For The Bombardier And Extra Rewards
If you want to stop the harassment for real, you have to flip your priorities. Ignore the drones when you can and hunt down the Bombardier. It is the keystone; remove it and the whole setup falls apart. As soon as the artillery unit goes up in flames, the Spotters usually break off and drift away. While you are pushing in, your quick-use gear matters a lot. Smoke grenades, flashbangs, anything that messes with visibility or targeting can buy those few seconds you need to revive a teammate or rotate to a safer angle. On top of that, these fights are worth doing because they drop useful bits like Spotter Relays and ARC Alloys, and over time you will need a pile of them if you are chasing upgrades or planning to trade for ARC Raiders Items cheap with enough materials stacked up.U4GM delivers powerful ARC Raiders items to boost your readiness for raids, ambushes, and elite threats.
